As we enter our 16th year, Sandlot Baseball continues to provide the same quality youth baseball tournaments throughout the 4 State region. Under the direction of Brad Longley and Tom Cox, Sandlot Baseball will be hosting tournaments in many outstanding facilities in 2025.

Sandlot Baseball tournaments will be one day (Saturdays only), 3 games guaranteed and played in some of the areas finest ballparks. There is never a gate fee and coolers are always welcome. We will use quality age-appropriate fields where kids from 8-14 can play baseball from April to August. The 2025 schedule includes 12 tournaments.

Thank you for the overwhelming support of coaches, players, parents and fans. Because of you, Sandlot Baseball lives on.

2017 Camp Schedule Released

The 2017 Sandlot Baseball Camp schedules have been released.  Last year's winter sessions were a great success!  This year we will once again be in the gymnasium at The MARC in Mt. Vernon on Saturday, January 14 for Hitting and Fielding and Sunday, January 15 for Pitching and Catching.  The camps will run from 1:00-5:00 pm each day.  The cost of each 4 hour session is $35 per athlete.  

The Spring Tune Up Camp will be held Sunday, April 8 at The Sandlot from 1:00-5:00 pm.  The camp will include Throwing, Fielding, Hitting and Pitching.  The cost of the 4 hour session is $35 per camper.

The Sandlot Baseball Overnight Camps will be offered in both June and July.  The 2017 Overnight Camps have been expanded to include an additional 1/2 day of instruction from the overnight camps in the past.

The first 3 day camp will be held Sunday, June 4 - Tuesday, June 6.  The second camp will take place from Sunday, July 9 - Tuesday, July 11.   Players may check in anytime after 1:00 pm on the first day of the camp.  On field instruction will begin at 2:00 pm that same day.  The camp will conclude at 5:00 pm on the final day of each camp.  

Cost of the overnight camp is $175 per camper and includes a box seat ticket and transportation to the Springfield Cardinals game on the first night of camp.  For more information, refer to the Overnight Camp tab.
